SalesCompete was born out of necessity. Having experienced the pain behind remotely managing an inside sales team during very uncertain times, we set out to solve the equation behind how to maintain a culture of competition amongst our sales reps.
Our own team of inside sales reps would use lots of different software to help them stay productive and efficient, but none more than Salesloft and Slack. These tools were great for making call cadences and internally communicating with the team, but neither solved the problem of how to keep the spirit and energy alive on a team that was forced to work remotely very abruptly.
We realized the best way to solve this issue with by providing an easy to install Slack bot that hooked into our existing toolset with Salesloft. This bot would give us the ability to coach our reps in real-time, hold power hours to encourage competition, and even keep folks engaged with daily trivia.
